Ayesha grew up in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She lives with her parents and has a sister called Natasha. Before making her film career, Ayesha appeared in a number of campaigns, and in a music video which got her noticed by the Bollywood industry. Ayesha made her Bollywood debut with the film "Taarzan: The Wonder Car", although she was originally supposed to make her debut with the Abhay Deol starrer "Socha Na Tha", the latter got delayed in production problems.
